Heute möchte ich auf ein Thema eingehen, dass mich nun schon seit knapp 2 Jahren beschäftigt: Die Gothic-Szene und das Tanzen in Hamburg.
Ich will ehrlich sein: Bislang verstehe ich die Szene in Hamburg noch nicht wirklich. Aber der Reihe nach..
Als ich nach Hamburg zog, dachte ich, dass es hier keinerlei Gothic/Industrial Partys gäbe. Und wenn, müsste man diese suchen und kommt nur durch Kontakte dahin. Nun, ganz so schlimm war es dann
doch nicht. Ein, zwei Partys im Monat habe ich dann „gefunden“ und besuche diese auch noch relativ regelmäßig.
Bei meiner ersten Party bin ich dann natürlich sofort ins Fettnäpfchen getreten. Mir wurde doch tatsächlich gesagt, dass Industrial tanzen in diesem Club nicht so erwünscht und nicht gern gesehen
sei. Uff… Okay. Da musste ich erstmal schlucken, denn es lief fast NUR Industrial/Electro und ich habe ja auch niemanden gestört beim tanzen. Aber gut, habe ich mich an die „3 Schritte vor, 3
Schritte zurück“ Mentalität angepasst.
Bei der nächsten Party, in einem anderen Club, habe ich es dann noch einmal gewagt. Und siehe da: Kein böses Blut. Allerdings fiel ich auch hier auf. Ich wurde wortwörtlich gefragt: „Kommst du
aus NRW? So wie du tanzt, sieht das so aus.“ Hmm, ja okay… Ich komme aus NRW aber was hat das mit meinem Tanzstil zu tun?
Mittlerweile habe ich mehr Partys entdeckt und ja, es gibt auch hier Industrial-Tänzer. Mitunter sehr gute sogar, denen ich einfach sehr gerne zuschaue. Jede Region ist anders, jede Stadt ist
anders und so unterscheiden sich wohl auch die Subkulturen, die doch eigentlich so ähnlich sind: Sie hören die selbe Musik, kaufen in den selben Läden ein, besuchen die selben Festivals aber
dennoch ist es eine andere Mentalität. Ich bin mir noch nicht sicher, welche ich nun „besser“ finde. Aber das ist wahrscheinlich auch nicht wichtig. Ich habe auch hier meine Nische gefunden und
habe Spaß - Beim tanzen und beim feiern. Das, was vor knappen zwei Jahren noch unmöglich erschien. Man muss sich einfach drauf einlassen, die Menschen kennen lernen und auch mal etwas neues
ausprobieren. Schließlich bin ich nicht 450km weit weg gezogen, um das selbe Leben wie vorher zu leben….
