Was ist es eigentlich, dass mich dazu bringt, dir zu sagen: "Ich liebe dich!?"
Drei Worte, die alles oder nichts bedeuten - Wirklich?
Kann man wirklich jemanden aufrichtig lieben, der die eigenen Gefühle nicht erwidert?
Ja und nein, sage ich. Jemanden zu lieben bedeutet Sehnsucht, bedeutet Freude, bedeutet Glück... Aber auch Schmerz und Unsicherheit.
Jemanden zu lieben, ohne sich selbst zu lieben, bedeutet Abhängigkeit. Da ist jemand, der kann vieles besser, macht Komplimente und hüllt deine Welt in tausend schillernde Farben - Ja, vielleicht gibt er dir sogar Sicherheit.
Und dann?
Was ist, wenn diese Sehnsucht, diese Liebe zerbricht und du ganz allein auf dich gestellt bist?
NICHTS! Leere, Schmerz, Grausamkeit; Ja, vielleicht sogar Hass. Aber warum? Wieso hasst du jemanden, der dich nicht liebt? Nicht kann oder einfach nur nicht will? Vielleicht sogar beides?
Sei glücklich! Ohne dafür einen anderen Menschen zu brauchen. Finde jemanden, der dich im Glücklich sein unterstützt aber nicht dafür verantwortlich ist. Jemanden, der deine Welt ein Stückchen besser macht. Aber denke immer daran:
Für die Liebe musst du dich nicht aufopfern, nicht rechtfertigen, keine Kompromisse eingehen, dich nicht entschuldigen und dich nicht schuldig fühlen.
Wenn du an dich selber glaubst und ohne jede "Hilfe" glücklich bist, bist du auch in der Lage diesen einen Menschen zu finden. Vielleicht sind es im Laufe deines Lebens auch mehrere.
Die Liebe ist nicht immer einfach. Sie geht Wege, die auch mir verschlossen und unbegreiflich bleiben.
Und doch hat sie mich eines gelehrt:
"Suche niemanden, der dich glücklich macht! Sei glücklich und du wirst denjenigen finden, mit dem du es teilen kannst."
